The Oregon Department of Forestry has recently acquired 43,000 acres of former Gilchrist Timber Company lands and is in the process of acquiring additional lands to create the Gilchrist State Forest. You are invited to meet with staff from the Oregon Department of Forestry and Walker Range Fire Patrol Association to learn more about the acquisition, and the transition process as ODF assumes management of the lands.
